Submitting Creative Materials

Materials Due Date: Creative is due 2 Mondays before the ad goes live (ex: if the ad begins the week of January 22nd, creative is due by Monday, January 8th).

 

FACEBOOK POSTS

Display
Image: 470px × 246px with an asepct ration of 1.9:1
Headline: 25 characters or less (including spaces)
Text: 90 characters or less (including spaces)

Video

Text: 90 characters or less (including spaces)
Headline: 25 characters or less (including spaces)
Thumbnail Image: 1200px × 675px. Your thumbnail image may not include more than 20% text.
Video: H.264 video compression, high profile preferred, square pixels, fixed frame rate, progressive scan
Format: .mp4 container ideally with leading mov atom, no edit lists

Recommended Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1 / 4:3 / SDTV, 1.375:1 / film, 1.77 / 16.9 / HDTV, 1.85:1 / Film, 2:39:1 or 2:40:1 / Widescreen, no pillar boxing or letter boxing
Audio: Stereo AAC audio compression,128kbps + preferred
File Size (1 GB max Bitrate): No limit to bitrate file if you're using two pass encoding, as long as long as your file doesn't exceed 1 GB. Otherwise, 8 megabit sper second for 1080p and 4 megabits per second for 720p.
Length: 5 minutes max

Social Media Guidelines:

  • Editors can create content for ad post – need to have concept and assets submitted 2 weeks prior to post date.
  • Post should be informative/entertaining, not influencing

 

LINKEDIN POSTS AND EMAIL BLASTS

Subject Line: 1200 character or less (including spaces). Recommended 70 characters for best performance.
Body Text: 2000 characters or less (including spaces). Recommended 300 characters for best performance.
URL: Plain URLs within the text are included in the character count. NO hyperlinked text. URLs will be converted into bit.ly links by Ad Ops for tracking.

Important to Note:
LinkedIn only allows blasts to be sent once every seven days. Due to this limitation, LinkedIn blasts must go out on Tuesday morning of the purchased week. This limitation extends to sending Test Blasts. Therefore, if Ad Ops does not receive creative by the proper due date, they cannot guarantee that you will see a Test until the following Tuesday and in that case, you must be on "standby" to approve and send the email blast out immediately.
